What's In My Park Bag?

I’m one of those people who likes to be prepared, which translates to "I'm an over packer." I know people who can just walk out of their room with their Magic Band and their phone and be ready for the day. However, for those of us who cannot condense their belongings like that, here is what I bring to the parks with me!

First off, this small, purple backpack I used my last trip is from Primark. I like to use a backpack because it allows me to carry more things, and frees up my side so I can sling my camera over my shoulder.

The first thing I always make sure I have is my phone. It has the ever useful My Disney Experience App on it, so I can modify all of my reservations through it. Plus, I couldn't go anywhere if I didn't have my phone on me.

After my phone I always make sure I have my fuel rod and cord to charge it. There are fuel rod stations all around Disney property, so you can purchase one and use it for your whole trip and after! And if your fuel rod runs out of juice at the parks you can head to a fuel rod machine and exchange it for one that's completely charged.

I always make sure I have some kind of sunscreen so I can reapply, and I really recommend everyone bring sunscreen with them. I'm prone to burning on my shoulders so I always have to reapply.

When my family and I go on trips we always bring water bottles with us since we drive down, so most of the time I'll always have my water bottle with me and just refill it using the water fountains around the parks or the sink in our hotel room. Pro tip for MK water bottle refill is that the water fountains around Cinderella's Fountain behind the castle have the coldest water.

As far as makeup goes I'll always bring a chap stick, my powder in case I get shiny, whatever lip color I'm wearing, and some blotting sheets.

A must have for me is my glasses. I always wear contacts when I'm in Disney so I can wear my sunglasses, another essential for me, but in case I have a contact issue I always have my glasses at the ready.

A few miscellaneous items I always carry with me are Advil/ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, sometimes a small pack of tissues, and band aids.

Last but not least I'll strap on my magic band, grab my camera, and I'm good to go!
