Disney Resort Christmas Decorations

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and an exciting New Year celebration! I spent the end of December and the beginning of January in Disney World, and let me tell you it was an experience. I plan to have a post up about tips and tricks for spending New Year's Eve in the parks, and where the best places to go depending on what kind of New Year's Eve you want, so stay tuned for that!

I had a blast on this trip and was able to catch all the Christmas decorations still up in the parks and the resorts. We stayed at the Contemporary, which had some beautiful decorations around the lobby! I really like the Contemporary Resort, it's unique and in a great location. You can walk to Magic Kingdom (about seven minutes) and the first stop when you get on the monorail is the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is great if you're headed to Epcot.

The Grand Floridian is the second to last stop from the Contemporary, and this resort had such elegant Christmas decorations. They used a lot of soft pinks and muted colors, which work beautifully with the classic feel of the lobby. Oh, and they also have a HUGE gingerbread house as well! You can purchase all kinds of Holiday treats in this gingerbread house, including gingerbread Mickey heads and gingerbread shingles!

We also visited all the Epcot resort area hotels (except Swan and Dolphin) and their theming was just fantastic! I love this resort area, and the boardwalk is always hopping at night. You can find The Beach and Yacht Club and the Boardwalk here, and they were so pretty! The Beach Club had a gingerbread carousel that actually worked and the Boardwalk had a gingerbread model of the store fronts by the water. Yacht Club had a really adorable train village set up in their lobby.

Every resort's decorations are themed to match the resort, so they are all unique in their own ways and are definitely worth stopping by to take a look at.
