Happy Monday! I'm back at it with the how to articles, which means we're going back to the My Disney Experience App! Another handy feature of the MDEA is the ability to make dining reservations directly through the app. You can make dining reservations 180 days in advance of your vacation, which is very exciting news! When you head to you home page, click on Reserve Dining to begin.
From here the sky's the limit. The app will prompt you to select your party size, which you are able to adjust after you make your reservation. Once you up the party size to one or more a calendar will appear where you can select the date you’d like to make the reservation for.
After you select a date the time search will come up. If you have a general idea of when you want to eat feel free to select the prompts for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you’re more rigid in your schedule, scroll through and select a specific time that works for you. The app will show you reservations at and around that time. Once you’ve selected a time the app will give you all the restaurants available for that time of day.
To narrow your search, use the icon that looks like a flashlight on the bottom right corner to filter by park, cuisine type, dining experience, features, dining plan, guest rating, and price range dining.
Once you select a restaurant and time you will be brought to a page to confirm your reservation. Once you put in all your information and add in any special requests you’re ready to confirm your Disney dining reservation!
Look out for an email in the next few minutes confirming the reservation you just made, and you’re all set.
