The Flower and Garden Festival may just be my favorite festival that Epcot does during the year. Granted, it’s the one I frequent most since my Disney trips usually happen in the spring. It features fresh food from all around the world to try, including locally grown stands featuring ingredients grown around Florida. The options are endless, and you could make a whole lunch or dinner out of walking around the world and trying all the different foods. We always have a really great time when we go, so I wanted to share some of the things we ate in a blog post!
The great thing about Flower and Garden (and all the festivals, really) is that they always have vegan and vegetarian options. And you can always ask to modify your order if you have any dietary restrictions.
The Honey Bee-stro

If you turn right after entering the beginning of the world showcase (toward Canada) you’ll find this booth set a little bit back from the main path of the showcase. This booth has the cutest theme, with plants and sculptures in the order and pick up area. This booth is hosted by the National Honey Board, so everything has honey incorporated into it in some way! I got the Roasted Cauliflower at this booth which was served with Buckwheat honey carrot puree, wild rice pilaf, asparagus, honey blistered grapes, and sunflower brittle. This was honestly the best thing I ate at Flower and Garden this year. I love cauliflower so that was amazing, and the carrot puree with the grapes were so good. And the sunflower brittle added such an interesting flavor. If you like cauliflower I highly recommend getting this.
Canada

The past few years I’ve gone to Flower and Garden the Canada pavilion has had the Beef Tenderloin Tips at their Northern Bloom stand. Their served with mushroom bordelaise sauce, whipped potatoes, and garden vegetables. These are always delicious, and for me the garden vegetables really steal the show. This dish might have some of the best flavor from all the things I’ve tried at Flower and Garden so far. It’s super yummy! ($6.75)
Pineapple Promenade

This stand has one of the most popular items at Flower and Garden, and it’s become something of a fan favorite among frequent Disney goers. The Violet Lemonade is super tasty. It’s tangy and sweet and comes with a small purple flower on top (it also doesn’t hurt that it’s very instagrammable). It’s also non-alcoholic, so the whole family can enjoy it! ($4.25)
England
My absolute favorite thing to get at Cider House in the UK pavilion is the Freshly Baked Lemon Scone with Crème Fraîche and Mixed Berries. It is SO GOOD. I love lemon anything and I also love scones, so this was a match made in heaven for me. It is so delicious and the mixed berry jam is just so delicious with the lemon scone. I definitely recommend this one! ($4.25)
France

Fleur de Lys, the stand in the France pavilion, always has super interesting food to try. I usually don’t go for any of the savory foods they have, because they tend to be a little too adventurous for me. However, this year seemed pretty delicious with a tomato tart and duck confit. However, I went to France with my eyes set on one thing only: the Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette. It’s basically a chocolate macron, but it’s served on a popsicle stick and rivals the violet lemonade for most instagrammable food at Flower and Garden! And it was SO good! ($4.95)
Florida Fresh

The Florida Fresh stand is located right in between the France and Morocco pavilions, and everything at this stand features ingredients Florida is famous for. We go the Spicy Blackened Shrimp and Stone-ground Cheddar Cheese Grits with Brown Gravy and Local Sweet Corn Relish and it was so, so delicious. This booth also has the Watermelon Cucumber Slushy drink, which is really good if it’s hot and you need something refreshing! But if you’re looking for a super savory snack I would recommend the shrimp and grits. ($6.75)
Japan

The Hanami stand in Japan always has super interesting foods to try, but one of their most popular items (and one of the more popular items at Flower and Garden in general) is the Frushi. This is fresh pineapple, strawberry and melon rolled with coconut rice, sprinkled with toasted coconut and whipped cream with raspberry sauce on the side, and it is so delicious. It comes with whipped cream and a fruit sauce and it’s one of my favorite sweet treats to get. ($5.95)
China

A total constant at Flower and Garden for me is the Lotus House stand in China. I always go for the Vegetable Spring Rolls, and they are always so delicious. It comes with this really good dipping sauce and you get to rolls, which I think is pretty good. This is one of my favorite things to get at Flower and Garden! ($4.50)
Mexico

During this trip I was not of the legal drinking age, but my cousin Jill was so she got Passion Mango Margarita from Choza de Margarita and she said it was super delicious.
